is a non-profit Organization located in Savannah, Tennessee and was founded in 1988 with non-profit status occurring in 1990. Its main purpose is to promote the visual arts in our community by learning to create, and provide opportunities to share. Membership and classes are open to all persons.

Don't forget to sign up for the 2-day Oil Painting Workshop that will be taught by award winning area artist Dot Courson. This workshop will be held May 14th and 15th. The location will be announced as the date approaches. Dot is a juried member of Oil Painters of America, Landscape Artist International, Mississippi Painter's Society and Mississippi Oil Painters Association. Works include landscapes of the south. She has traveled the US painting and photographing the scenery for paintings literally from coast to coast, but still prefers the beauty of the southern landscape as her subject.
Cost of the workshop is $70 for both days. They will be all day sessions so plan to bring a sack lunch. For details call the Art Guild Office at 731-925-7529

The art workshops are sponsored by the Guild and many of the teachers are well known artists. In the past, the workshops have been subsidized by grants and funds from state, city and county governments. They have also been supported by matching funds raised by members as well as donations from patrons and friends of the Arts.
CHILDREN'S ART CAMP
This is a week long, popular activity, this is a continuing arts outreach program held each year in July.. It is for children grades one through high school and paid for by funds from the city and county. A certified art teacher overlooks the program with help from members of the Guild.Please contact the Guild for pricing.
